Are all the ornaments there or are some missing? Maybe we misplaced the star? Are garlands knotted? Even if we have found them, is everything o.k. with the ornaments in the box? In many cases some will be scratched and cracked. Frankly, it is hard to predict all possible complications.
In some cases something made to look our home more appealing, gives just the opposite impression.
Nobody wants cheap looking Christmas tree! Proper storage where individual pieces can't rub against each other is one, although partial solution. Well, it's probably a good to think about replacements too and have few extra pieces to use just in case if something happens to our main 'supply'.
